Thank you for taking this first step to making extra money. Now let's get you registered as a MommyPicks.com affiliate. 

Registration is a simple four-step process which should take you no more than 10-15 minutes. You need to complete all 4 steps for your registration to be effective. Some of you might find a couple of these steps to be a bit technical but rest assured that nothing else about this affiliate program will be. Please take your time and read the instructions slowly. It will all make sense. You might want to print this set of instructions as it will make it easier to you to follow them as you flip a little bit from page to page. Before you start the registration process please note the following preliminaries:

a) On the MommyPicks.com home page, you will see a tab called Affiliate Program. This tab contains 3 sub-menu items: About the Program, How to Register, and Your Affiliate Guide.

b) About the Program is the general overview of the MommyPicks.com affiliate program, which you have just read, before coming to this How to Register information.

c) How to Register, is where you are now. This contains the steps to registration. The point of registration is mainly to receive your personal internet link that you will be using to generate sales commissions.

d) Your Affiliate Guide is the place where we will provide you with sales tools which you might want to use to make the best out of your affiliate status, and yes the most money. You should go to this place once you are registered as a MommyPicks.com affiliate.

e) Before you start registering below, please make sure you have a working email as well as an active Paypal account. You will need your email address and your PayPal account username to register. Please go to www.paypal.com to open your account if you don't presently have one.

Having gone through these preliminaries, let’s get you registered now.

Step 1:  Go to the Affiliate Program menu tab on the home page. This tab opens up to three (3) sub-menu items (About the Program, How to Register and Your Affiliate Guide), but just click on the main tab in red. You will be greeted by a page entitled Welcome to Our Affiliate Program. As you do not yet have a Username and Password ,click on "Register Now", below. This will take you to a registration form. Complete this registration form. Please note:

a) Please create your Username and Password. REMEMBER YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD AS YOU WILL NEED IT TO LOG IN LATER WHEN YOU COME BACK TO THE SITE AS REGISTERED AFFILIATE.
b) Please insert your current email address.
c) If you do not have a website or a blog, just type in www.mommypicks.com.
d) If you're a Canadian resident, type your province where it says state, and your postal code where it says Zip Code.
e) Once you're done, click the SAVE button at the top of the form (the button that looks like a computer disk). You will immediately receive on screen a message confirming that your registration was successful.

Step 2:  Go back to the home page where you will once again click on the main Our Affiliate Program tab.  Now that you have registered a Username and Password, please log in by using your new Username and Password (which you created in Step 1). Disregard any message for now about Payment mechanisms. We will get to that later.  You will see a list of menu items. Click on  the box called "E-mail Campaign." This will open up an email form. You will now complete this form to send yourself a message containing your personal affiliate link:

a)     In the "Recipients" box, please type your present email address (the same one you used in Step 1).

b)     In the "Subject" box, type in My Affiliate Link.

c)     Now here is the most important part. Please read slowly and carefully. Just below the "Message Body" box, you will see text which says:

"Type above the message of your recommendation. Insert the following snippet, {afflink} where ever you want your affiliate link to appear in the message."

You need to copy and paste the snippet of text that says "{afflink}" into the empty "Message Body" box. Please make sure you copy and paste the whole snippet including the opening and closing brackets.
Once you are done, your "Message Body" should look like this:

Step 3:  Once your receive the email you created in Step 2, you will see that it contains your MommyPicks Affiliate Link. This is your unique, personal link, which includes your affiliate ID. This allows us to know when people click on YOUR link to reach MommyPicks.com. When they then make a purchase on MommyPicks.com, after using YOUR link to get there, we know that you are the originator of the order, and are entitled to a commission. Your Affiliate Link should look something like this:

http://www.mommypicks.com/?aff_id=*

The ID number at the end is your personal affiliate ID. Please copy this whole link and save it in a safe place. You will be using this to make money and receive payment from us.

Step 4:  Finally, you will see a menu of items on the left side of the email confirmation page. Click on the menu item called Preferences. In Preferences (a) click on PayPal and (b) insert your PayPal email (if you do not have a PayPalaccount please go to www.paypal.com and get one first). Then SAVE. Ignore the two fields at the bottom called Account Username and Account Password. If your Affiliate Panel is closed, first log into your Affiliate Panel (from the home page tab called Affiliate Program) by entering your Username and Password, then go to Preferences and follow the instructions in this Step 5 to register your Paypal account.
